Great breakfast<\/strong> served at the restaurant of the Acropolis Museum<\/a>. Sit on the veranda and gaze at the Acropolis while having yummy food sourced from small Greek producers.

I am a great fun of the New Hotel <\/a>breakfast<\/strong>. Excellent for business meetings and the service cannot be faulted.

Escape the Athens heat by going down to Flisvos. Great fish and seafood<\/strong> at Nisos<\/a>.

Looking for a vegetarian, vegan or gluten free<\/strong> yummy lunch<\/strong>? Head on to Avocado<\/a> in the centre of Athens.

For a hole in the wall with superb kebab and souvlaki<\/strong> go to Elvis<\/a>. It’s a true legend and a favourite haunt of Athenians.

MUST DO –<\/strong> <\/span>To wow your friends with dinner<\/strong> go to Kuzina<\/a> during the summer and when you call to book ask for a terrace table. Spend the evening munching away their generous portions of great food and gaze at the Acropolis and the Thiseion.

Head to Tranzistor<\/a> if you are looking for a quick bite, coffee or drinks in the hipster heart of Athens<\/strong>. Very yummy food. Great small boutiques around too.

For the one of the most *authentic* eateries<\/strong>\u00a0in the centre of Athens head to Rozalia<\/a> and ask for a list of Mayirefta<\/em> (i.e. pot\/ oven dishes). Choose from standard fare that you would expect from a Greek mother.

In the mood for something (extremely) sweet<\/strong>? Visit Ta Sermpetia<\/a>. Athenians love their chocolate pie but I highly recommend their Ekmek.
